Job SummaryUnder the broad supervision of the Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence and Applications, provides direct oversight and implementation of 1) innovative software solutions to improve business processes and meet business needs, 2) systems, 3) IT Service Design, and 4) IT Service Desk support for the Pittsburgh International and Allegheny County Airports.
This is a key IT leadership role that will support and collaborate with the Intelligent Infrastructure Team and the Cyber Security Team on strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
This position has overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring quality design, development, release, and support of all business application systems for business functions enterprise wide.
Here is how the Director, Applications will help:
Provide oversight and strategic direction for applications as it relates to application development and/or selection, business analysis and process mapping, business continuity, implementation, support, training, and usability services.
Create the enterprise applications strategy aligned to service design solutions, roadmap, and execution plan, with a focus on HCM, finance, legal, procurement and asset management and other areas.
Oversee the development of standards / architectures for all enterprise-wide business system environments to ensure compatibility and integration within multivendor platforms throughout the enterprise.
Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness/efficiency and develop strategies for improving or replacing these systems with next generation of systems.
Working closely with our Finance, HR, Operations, Experience and Design and various business teams, to design, build and operate enterprise applications with cohesive digital user experience.
Partner with various business functions to drive business transformation and process optimization.
Oversight of application costs/budget and vendor/contractor selections, disaster recovery, and all related work processes and procedures.
Lead application initiatives to produce and review on-premises and cloud software/hardware, management, and monitoring platforms with focus on data protection, backup, disaster recovery techniques and tools.
Provide support and development to employees through performance management, coaching, training, motivation, and discipline.
Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

QualificationsRequirements to apply for the role of Director, Applications are:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, computer science or closely related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Seven (7) years' experience in the technology applications field, demonstrating progressive technical management experience in multiple functions such as ERP and CRM implementation, as well as progression in leadership roles.
Experience leading an applications team with budget responsibility preferred.
Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
